Empowering African American Entrepreneurs
African American businesses in the four counties of Kane, Kendall, DuPage and Will have added to the growth and development of the Northern Illinois area. The QCAACC-Foundation invites you to join us in our mission to uplift, increase and support African American businesses.
The Foundation’s Importance
The QCAA Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering African American businesses across four Northern Illinois counties. Our mission is to provide the resources, mentorship, and financial support needed to help entrepreneurs thrive.
| County | Black-Owned Businesses | Black Population % |
|---|---|---|
| DuPage | 5,798 | 5.6% |
| Kane | 2,460 | 6.0% |
| Kendall | 500 | 9.4% |
| Will | 2,869 | 12.9% |
After the pandemic, many African American-owned businesses faced unprecedented challenges—supply chain disruptions, reduced foot traffic, and limited access to capital. The QCAA Foundation stepped in to bridge the gap, providing grants, networking opportunities, and strategic partnerships that help businesses not just survive, but grow and prosper in our communities.
